Merchants are purveyors of goods and services, and use ChargeWell as a method to offer, and collect, for those goods and services via the Internet. Buyers are uses that purchase goods from Merchants, using ChargeWell's shopping cart checkout feature.
ChargeWell collects and stores the following information from Merchants.
Public IP Address - We will record your public IP Address in our general access logs, and our operational database. These logs and databse entries may be used to determine the source of fraudulent and malicious transactions. Using your Public IP Address, we may attempt to determine your country, state or region, and city of origin. Using this general location information, we can enhance your experiences, such as pre-populating forms. We may also use this general location information to making marketing, operations and logistical decisions.
Browser Agent String - We will record your browser agent string in our general access logs. We use the reported browser agent string to make decisions about how our products and services should execute in your browser. These include fixes and changes to adjust for flaws and differences in the many varying browsers.
Cookies - We may use randomly generated, unique cookies as your browser settings permit. We do not place any personally identifiying information in cookies, and we never attempt to make cross-domain access to cookies. These cookies allow us to provide returning customers a customized experience that may reflect their prior decisions.
Electronically Transmited Data - We use the information you transmit to us to perform services, that you have requested, on your behalf. As such, we may re-transmit this information to trusted third parties, store in our data collections and/or make copies of this data in our backups. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and goign to the "My Contact Information" page. Buyers may request that their order information be deleted, by contacting ChargeWell support directly.
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that we are compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 by never sending out misleading information.
